home security companies in atlantaOn the whole, though, most ADT franchises are very good with customers, and are committed to providing a high level of quality and value for everyone who contracts with them. It’s a DIY installation system, so you don’t have to take the time out of your busy life to wait for someone to come hook things up for you. Instead, you can just get the equipment and set everything up on your own. It’s great for people who are on a budget, and it’s also great for people who rent—You can take the equipment with you when you move, and won’t have to worry about being charged another installation fee for setting things up in your new location. If you choose SimpliSafe, you also won’t have to worry about canceling a contract and paying a high fee if you move to an area where a service provider doesn’t operate this system. You have to buy the equipment upfront, but that means you own it, and it reduces the monitoring costs every month.
While Scout Alarm requires a monthly fee to help pay for server maintenance and customer support, there's no contract commitment so you only pay for service when you need it.

home security tips2 weeks later I receive a call from Comcast saying something was wrong with the system and to make a long story short after over 20 hours on the phone and 3 installations attempts, my account monitoring was cancelled for no apparent reason. I filed a complaint with the Florida division of agriculture and consumer, affairs and requested my initial investment to be reimbursed. Comcast has the worse customer service around, I will sign up with a different company I found on your review site and instead of being on the phone I will spend this time drafting legal documents for the complaints litigation that I will initiate against the company. I paid for and have been depending on an alarm system from COMCAST for six months. My bad, but for the first time since installation I decided to test it today, walked in and tripped the door and motion detector, let it go into alarm and went and waited for the call. and waited,. and waited. NO CALL from monitoring. I called Comcast, was told a bunch of lies about an alarm not being allowed to ring long enough etc. It must be a central monitoring problem, etc. I was give their monitoring company number, called them and they never received notification of an alarm by the system.
